This time I was able to get some clear skies for a sunrise. However, a very well placed cloud (in my case a very poorly placed cloud) obstructed the view of the sun when it first rose over the horizon. When the rays of light hit the summits, all the reds, oranges, and yellows were already gone. I’ll try again another day. Third time’s the charm, right?
